You can expect Rogers & Buffington to deliver a professional performance from start to finish. We arrive on time or early, set up, sound check, and complete all preparations prior to start of performance. In fact, we have never started a performance late. We know when to chat with the audience and when to just stick to the music and stay out of the way. We have a broad repertoire, so we can increase the energy or chill out as needed. You will also find us extremely cooperative and easy to work with--no divas here! Want us to turn down? Turn up? Just tell us and we'll adjust. We pride ourselves on being professional, communicative, cooperative, and fun for audiences.

Rogers & Buffington, Salt Lake's premier vocal folk duo, thrives on close harmonies and the stripped-down acoustic blend of guitar, banjo, and harmonica. R&B write songs ranging from brooding folk to rollicking blues rock, from good-time acoustic pop to back-woods ballads, and are inspired by the likes of Gillian Welch, the Avett Brothers, the Grateful Dead, Josh Ritter, and Paul Simon.

Our needs are simple and straightforward: We both sing, and we have just one guitar and one banjo. Our setup is super simple, and we have out own PA equipment, so we are ready to play a wide variety of venues.
