Rommyna was so nice. Her dancing is beautiful. Our guests loved her, and the interactive dance was fun. The only reason she did not get five stars was there were some issues finding the location and she was late to the event.
There was nothing Hawaiian about her performance.it was more belly/Spanish entertainment.my husband was so upset but didn't want to ruin the night.she was very nice & entertaining but not what I paid for.its a good thing the guest didn't know what tahitian dancing looks like.my son got off work late it was for the best because he would have been pissed.we spoke on several occasions I was under the impression I would get a tahitian performance she was told this was a luau and I am traditional Hawaiian from hawaii I just wanted someone younger to close my show with a traditional tahitian and we did not get that at all. I guess I will teach my girls tahitian and show my guest what tahitian dancing looks like.my luau was set up like one and the food was traditional hawaiian.we cooked a whole pig Kailua pig, chicken long rice,shoyu chicken,lomi salmon.white rice sesame seed rotinni veggie salad.we also had Hawaiian chips,cookies,bread,& appetizers / desert's to bring it together.wish we had the traditional tahitian dancer.gig salad needs to interview people on this site before they promote their work.I would not hire this girl for Hawaiian entertainment she is more of belly dancing/Spanish dancing I gave her 1 star â because she was nice and although her performance wasn't Hawaiian it was somewhat entertaining.and she was extremely late she showed up 10 minutes after the show was over

Well you were aware that I was INJURED from the truck accident I had, I TOLD you on the PHONE , by TEXT and IN PERSON, I even felt like a BROKE MY HIP, I was unable and could not dance for almost 2 weeks, this accident that affected my whole body, my hips, arms mobility and range of motions were compromised
So you knew that I was not to my %100, I told you that in my condition was not able to do any Traditional Ori, you told me it was not problem, if I come with a dance less hard on my body thats why I picked FUSION TAHITIAN music covered to popular Latin songs in America. If you don't like fusion songs, you should had be more clear about what exactly songs you want.
TODAY you sent a video so why you don't send it before, if you wanted LEG FLOOR WORK, when you DID NOT OFFER A FLOOR for, just UNEVEN GROUND grass. I even offered you a deal for my situation, also you sister in law had some compassion for me to showing to dance in my condition.
You had your chance to cancel it to get your money back but you didn't.
When I was on my way and had issues in the gas station I called you and you clearly told me that YOUR EVENT IS RUNNING VERY LATE that if come AT 8PM is more than fine and I did show up before than that 7:40PM.
As you mentioned IN MY FACE I DID NOT DESSAPOINMENT YOU, regardless of my injured condition and that I DID ENTERTAIN your guest and they seemed very pleased with my perform WHY ALL THESE NEGATIVITY AFTER A WEEK?
In case if YOU FORGOT YOU BOOK ME AS BELLY DANCER, no even as HULA DANCER when this option is available in my profile, FYI TAHITIAN DANCE HAS MOVES in COMMON (VARU, RURU, AMI ,etc) WITH BELLY DANCE.
I booked Rommyna for our Hawaii Week at a long term care community. Rommyna was very easy to work with and had great upbeat energy! Our residents really enjoyed her performance and loved dancing along. Only downside was that she had a hard time finding our building and so the performance started a little late but other than that was wonderful!

Boy did we have fun. We hired Rommyna for a Hawaiian themed bachelorette party. The bride is going to Hawaii for her honeymoon and wanted some Hula tips. Rommyna was fantastic. Her artistry is beautiful, she interacted with the whole party and paid special attention to the bride. She stayed longer than anticipated and it was just a great night. We appreciate you Rommyna!! Extremely unprofessional and rude. Booked her on 12/19 for a 20 minute show on New Years. 12/22 I texted her asking to call us to discuss details. 12/26, I texted her a long message with all of the details for the night of the event, along with a contact number for it (because I would be out of town). The contact, Irina, says that she was very unprofessional with her communication. Starting from the first message, where she asked if we could provide accommodations - which is already an absurd request to ask of a restaurant manager. We recommended she seek out a few hotels nearby. She messaged that they are too expensive for her, and if we could offer anything else - like what? Did she want us to offer for her to sleep in our living room? Then she called and asked if we could host her for the event, since she will be driving from 2 hours away for New Years. We honestly told her that it cost $150 per seat at our restaurant for the night of New Years. She said that was a ridiculous price. We generously offered her a free seat for the night (thatâs $370 for the event + $150 for the seat). The next step was for her to ask if she can bring a friend so she doesnât have to drive alone. We again, generously offered her FRIEND, not another entertainer, a free seat. Another $150. Not once did she offer to extend her performance in return. It got increasingly absurd with every message from her, down to her basically telling us that because we werenât offering her somewhere to stay for the night she might âhave to sleep in her carâ because she doesnât want to drive home after the show. Excuse me? When she reached out to us, the address and time of performance was very clear. She had ample time to search the location of the event from her. She said she was hoping her friends would drive her in their car, and her car wasnât up for the drive. This ended up going back and forth from the day we booked her on 12/19 up until 12/31 (night of the event) - when she texted us saying sheâd have to CANCEL because she didnât feel comfortable driving 2 hours for the event in the DARK. She even mentioned that gas was too expensive to get to us - ??? She made it clear she didnât want to spend 2 hours driving home after the show because she would be too tired for her event the next morning. Hold up - she booked an event the next morning knowing she was performing at our restaurant the night before⌠and was now telling us sheâd be too tired to drive? When we called her to try to talk to her, she sent us to voicemail and would respond with texts like âIâm on my lunch break, canât talk please textâ. She left our 130 guests without any entertainment. She knew the distance from the date of booking, she knew the expectations, and she knew what kind of conditions and car she had. She had plenty of time to book accommodations for the night after. This was an absolutely ridiculous entertainer who has 0 knowledge of boundaries, professional behavior, and customer service. Thank god we have reliable friends in the entertainment industry, and managed to book someone for 3x the price for a 15 minute show night-of. Had she told us 2 weeks prior that she wasnât comfortable and had to cancel, weâd have had time to find new entertainment. We turned down 5 other offers for entertainment that night. She was getting $350 for a 20 minute show, plus 2 entry tickets to spend the evening at our restaurant at $150 each. Thatâs a $650 price tag on a 20 minute show. With how much stress, time, and energy she sucked out of us for this, Iâd say she owes us more than that back. Anyways, please save yourselves the hassle and donât get involved. Not to mention she has no videos or any other proof that she actually performs - something we shouldâve seen as a RED FLAG before we got involved, too. GLAD! that I DID NOT PERFORM, YOUR SHADY PERSONA shined through, I don't think Inara did this malicious feedback but her daughter, who supposed was out US. If your mom should comunicated like real people, she didn't even bother reply back in any way for a week after you text me with her number, Will you invest if you don't hear from client? Only 7% of what you typed is true, that includes dates, the rest is YOUR FALSE ACCUSATIONS, when I finally talked to her on phone 2 days before gig, she NEVER offered FREE DINNER TO ME OR NOBODY. I NEVER ASKED HER FOR, I told her If I could come earlier to change in costume, to avoid traffic, after 3 HOUR RIDE to venue, she told me it's a dinner show for 150 persons. I just asked her the price to see if I could eat there after my dance (I don't eat before my gigs)She responded clearly is SOLD OUT. and VERY EXPENSIVE She mentioned MAYBE could FIX A SEAT AND SALAD, she DID NOT TELL IT WAS FREE, I told her I could eat in the back, I asked if I could bring a friend, she told she'll let me know later but she didn't, I don't go to dance gigs alone, specially if it's a far drive or 6 hours round trip like in this case) my friend was coming to help with music, also I found out in the call that I was the only number/show, that I have to animate the party, they were not even having a dj. So they wanted that for $322 ( after GS fee cut) dance 2 kinds of dances in 30 min, paid $150 dinner (probably for seating in and salads for 2 if she would alowed my friend) drive 30min south other town to paid motel $95 w/ taxes, gas cost 6 hrs round trip $50 plus after dry cleaning of costume $34. Like you told me you are not friend or familly to offer acomodations , well you neather to PERFORM ALMOST FREE. I'm NOT YOUR STAFF like you called me. I was trying to cancel she kept insisting. I was outdoors I thought was 1pm not 1AM, othewise never would take it, I didn't want to spend ALONE New Year's eve feeling UNSAFE in STRANGE town with SNOWY ROADS.
Rommyna did a wonderful job, even the guests were engaged! We would have her here again!
