Wedding Singer
Wonderful voice, and a pleasure to deal with!
Singing Guitarist
Ruby was absolutely fantastic in putting together a surprise proposal in Central Park. She performed two of our favorite songs which totally took my girlfriend (now fiancee!) by surprise. Ruby was also flexible with the location given some unforeseen issues - would definitely have her at my next event!!

About
Born and raised in Colorado, folk singer-songwriter Ruby Greenberg’s music perfectly embodies an enchanting view of the mountainside. Her indie-folk melodies and lyricism are inspired by the natural surroundings that bring her joy, so it’s no surprise that her songs are a perfect pairing with a walk in the woods or a day exploring in nature.
At only 5 years old, Ruby discovered her love for singing - a love that grew into a passion for music and songwriting into her teens. Whether jamming with her family at home, learning to perform by way of touring with her high school bands, or gigging locally, she was keenly focused on music and always in song. Music was more than just an outlet for her own emotions, it was also her key to connecting with others.
When she reached college, Ruby spent several semesters in a traditional university setting but craved the immersive musical experience of her youth. She moved to New York and began attending The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music conservatory in Greenwich Village. After receiving her degree in jazz, Ruby found herself immersed in the industry, performing in clubs, self producing regional tours, vocal coaching, and working in the music business at various record labels and artist teams. Soon she began songwriting, and more of her time was spent off of the bandstand and instead in the recording studio, writing and recording her original music. Now an acoustic folk artist, her unique vocal stylings affectionately nod to her jazz background while more firmly rooted in folk and acoustic traditions, performance style, and production. She performs both with her acoustic band and as a solo artist, naturally connecting with audiences through expressive lyricism, indie grooves, and intimate covers.
After five years of writing and composing, she continued her writing journey in October 2021 with the release of her nostalgic single “Run Away,” which embodied her experiences after arriving in New York, along with the memories from back home that she keeps close to her heart.
Since first sharing her original music in 2019, she has released three singles and numerous live studio covers available to stream, praised by Ear to the Ground Music, Glamglare, and Colorado Public Radio (Vicky Gregor). She is now based in Manitou Springs, CO. Ruby’s next single “Living Love” will be released this year.
