I play songs similar to piano bars, songs you know, but with my guitar and voice. I have had 2 successful house parties of late, I even had the some of the guest sing while I played the guitar. A 6 year old girl sang "You are My Sunshine."
I also enjoy playing Christmas Music. I have a standing gig with a local Christmas tree farm every season.
I waited to the last minute to book a musician for a 50th birthday party (3 days before event). I found the GigSalad website and in a very short time had a handful of performers that were possibilities and few that were actually available and had me quotes within an hour or so. I received a very reasonable quote from Ryan Post and booked him shortly thereafter. Ryan was on time (all the way from Battle Creek, I might add) and did a great, great job and was perfect for the party. Very pleased and hopefully can hire him again for a future event.
