Reverend Elisa created a beautiful and personal ceremony. She met with us to get to know us as a couple and what we wanted in our ceremony and marriage. She encorporated these personal touches into our ceremony and our guests were touched by her words. On the day if the event, she was professional and kept speaking even through the rain. We can't thank her enough for putting together such a memorable and spiritual service that we and our guests will remember for a lifetime.
Response from Sacred Moments Weddings:
Dear Laura,
Thank you so much for your lovely testimonial. I just found it today.. I hold you and Ryan and out time together as precious, and send love and blessings ahead for your marriage.
If you have any photos you think I might like or use, I'd be grateful if you could send them on to me.

When preparing for a wedding (and other ceremonies as well), we meet at least once in person when possible, or via Skype or other video call, to discuss your vision, what language, symbols or rituals would be meaningful for you, who will be involved, and in what order you want the ceremony to proceed. We may cover music, readings, materials needed, and whether there are any needs to be addressed as part of the service for those who attend the ceremony. As I've gotten to know you, I will write the ceremony specifically for you, with your input, which we can usually do via e-mail. For weddings, most of the couples I've officiated have chosen to write their own vows or say them spontaneously. That will be up to you. For a legal ceremony, I will sign your license at the end of the wedding. You will also receive a beautifully typeset copy of the service.
An additional service: I also offer couple sessions (for an additional fee) designed to form the marriage (using a wonderful awareness process), to clear any blockages or misunderstandings or family issues as necessary, to share skills of “marriaging” and to discern the highest purpose of the relationship.
In addition to weddings, I also offer:
Commitment ceremonies
Baby blessings
Godparent ceremonies
Coming-of-age ceremonies
Land and house blessings
Life transition services
Memorial services
Special occasion celebrations and ceremonies
Prayer communion
Counseling and spiritual guidance for couples, families, caregivers, healers, spiritual servers, religious organizations and communities, lightworkers
Language: I perform ceremonies in English, but can also speak some Spanish and can pronounce it quite well, so if you would like to have all or some of the service translated into Spanish, I can accommodate you. I may be able to, with coaching, pronounce blessings in some other languages.
One of the most sacred and joyful moments of my life was when I was ordained as a non-denominational Minister. I sensed the blessing of Light and of love coming over and through me and knew that this active Light of God was present with me in my ministry to all who needed it. As a healer, counselor, workshop facilitator, friend and family member, and especially as minister, this love and Light are present and functioning for the highest good of all. In ceremonies, I can truly pronounce God's blessing with confidence. In this I am grateful. Part of my ordination blessing says, “Go forward into the world, ministering to all, regardless of race, creed, color, situation, circumstance or environment.” Therefore, this is my commitment: I believe that we are souls, each unique and magnificent. Therefore, differences in skin color, sexual orientation, belief system, etc., are not considerations in my willingness and joy in being of service.
When we meet, we will discuss what materials are needed for the rituals you've chosen. If possible a podium for the written service or music stand is helpful, and for a large group, especially if outdoors, we may need a sound system with a microphone for me and possibly microphones for others speaking or performing. You can also let me know if there are guidelines for clothing (i.e., color, style, formality), etc. Generally I have not attended wedding rehearsals, but can do that as well for a separate fee. I include a modest travel fee, just for driving to and from your venue, but if there is more extensive travel required, or food or lodging expense, we can add that in. Other expenses such as venue, decoration, flowers, music, wedding planning outside the ceremony itself are up to you and/or your wedding planner and are not included in my service. Many couples have invited me to a celebration after their wedding service, but that is not required or expected and my attendance may depend on my schedule and travel needs. I welcome your questions and having a clear agreement as to our expectations for all concerned.

I was ordained in the Church of the Movement of Spiritual Inner Awareness as a Minister. I grew up as an atheist in a Jewish family. I have a spiritual orientation, not particularly religious per se. Therefore I am open to most other belief systems that are focused into loving relationships. The language I use will be what is meaningful and acceptable to you. Ceremonies call us powerfully present as our act of choosing is witnessed by our community. The one who officiates stands in for God,— or whatever term is cherished by you — and pronounces the blessing. In this manner, the continuum is represented, from the physical to the high realms of Light.
If larger than a small group, sound amplification equipment would be helpful. A podium to lay the printed service on would be helpful but not required.
