As a Bellydancer:
I can do one 15 minute solo show every hour. These can be belly grams for the guest of honor, restaurant events, weddings, or fully staged large scale events. I'm comfortable putting on a fully choregraphed stage show, or working up close with each table, entertaining the guests around the room, and inviting them to dance. I'm happy to provide my own music/sound system or improv with a live band. You can expect a wide variety of props and belly dance styles at my shows.

As an Instructor:
As much as I love entertaining with bellydance, I also love teaching it. A bellydance lesson makes a wonderful addition to girls nights, bachelorette parties, fitness events, etc. My classes use a mix of modern and traditional Middle Eastern music to break the moves down to the basics, drill them with an upbeat way to remember, then put them into a spunky combination to take home. I am available for workshops, a class series, or one time events. Pricing is per hour from 1-4 hours.

As a Fire Performer:
I perform with a fire belt, fire sword, palm candles, shamadon, and can eat and breathe fire. I can come as a soloist, but also perform with a group of talented fire dancers that add more props, excitement, and a longer running performance without pauses. We have sets and costuming for circus, luau, rock, or nature/spiritual themes. We will amaze and delight your guests while we light up the night.

As an LED Performer:
Wanting a light show, but indoors? Electronica music with Tron style costuming. Make your next event a spectacular visual with an LED glow show! I can spin LED buugeng (s-staffs), isis wings, veil, levi wand, and fan veils as a soloist or with my performance troupe.

A soloist, fire spinner with Flame in the Valley, and bellydancer, Samira derives her passion and flair from a deep-rooted family connection. She studied dance from a young age, growing up in her brother’s dance studio. Just as a single flame has the power to illuminate others, Samira launched her journey to share his love of dance with the world.

As an instructor for in-person and virtual workshops, classes and private lessons, Samira goes beyond the technical aspects to also highlight the history and culture for a true depth and understanding of each dance form. She is an eclectic dancer adept in Egyptian Cabaret Bellydance, Folkloric Bellydance, Romani Dance, Turkish Oriental, Tribal Style, Tribal Fusion, LED/Fire Prop manipulation, Snake Dancing, and is certified in Group Fitness Instruction through NETA.

Alongside others with a shared love of dance, Samira’s performances bring a spicy note to everything from personal bellygrams to weddings, girl’s nights, restaurant shows and troupe performances. Her performance portfolio includes everything from a traditional Egyptian Cabaret show, to a rambunctious Gypsy act, all the way to the Danger and Drama tribal fusion set featuring swords, flames, and serpents. With each shimmy and sway, Samira’s every movement connects with students and captivates audiences – the joyful gift of dance that keeps on giving.

I am Group Fitness Instructor Certified through National Exercise Trainers Association, CPR certified, First Aid Certified, and insured. I have 15 years of bellydance experience (teaching for 13) and 10 years of fire performance experience. You can expect a professional at your event.

As part of my performance, I will be bringing a professional sound crew and equipment. Please have a dedicated outlet available.

For fire performance, I need at least a 15' square of flat, outdoor ground to rope off. I will provide stanchions, my own safety team, fuel, tools, and gear.

A safe and adequate dance space shall be provided at the venue. It must be free of hazards, including nails, broken glass, spilled liquids, mud, ice, uneven ground, or heavy rain. This also includes an environment that is free of harassment of a sexual nature or otherwise. For my own security, I will not entertain at all male parties.

If a fire event is on city property: please notify the Fire Chief, Chief of Police, and City Hall that the event will be taking place. I am happy to provide any necessary documentation.

If a fire event is on private property: please let your neighbors know that there will be music and fire for an event and there is no cause for alarm.

I am happy to take special requests for music or ways to invite the guest of honor to participate, but please communicate them at least 2 weeks prior to the night of the performance. Each show is specifically planned and it is difficult to make any significant changes on the performance night.
