Samraw

Samraw was content to just sit back and keep his rhymes to himself until he heard the rap duo, Das FX, back in the early 1990s. Feeling that his own lyrical prowess met, if not exceeded many of the rappers on the scene at the time, Samraw was inspired to pursue his rap career from that point on. Known for “Ski Mask Rap” and club anthems, Samraw is a Valley Area, California rapper looking to make his mark in North Carolina as he has done on his home turf of Stockton, CA and overseas.
Samraw is not new to the game. He was ghostwriting raps for classmates, in order to help them win rap battles while he was still in Middle School. He has always had a strong love for Hip-Hop and great pride in his hometown. He credits West Coast rappers, the late MacDre and Tupac Shakur as his biggest musical influences.
His environment and life experiences have always been themes in his music. It is no surprise that his latest project, under his label, GMG Urban Entertainment Group, contains the topics of transition, new beginnings and the unstoppable and insatiable appetite of a true artist on a mission. His new single, “Money, Money, Money” is out now and looks to gain Samraw new fans and excite current fans familiar with Raw's edgy word play and contagious beats.
Samraw's newest album, produced by label co-founder, Trell Corleon, is bringing a touch of the Valley to Charlotte, NC to create that Cali-Carolina Connection. Raw is starting a movement that will be felt on both coasts and all points in between.
