Samuel Martin is a recording artist, composer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist from Dallas, Texas. A Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts attendee, he lives in Dallas, splitting his time between school, writing and gigging. He has played at many notable venues: Sambuca’s in Uptown Dallas, and The Kitchen Cafe to name a few. Samuel is capable of writing in any style, but the music he releases himself is mainly big band/swing jazz.
In 2019, Samuel Martin performed at the 50th Anniversary New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival. In 2020, he is scheduled to make his collaborative debut on stage at Carnegie Hall in New York City.
He played well but did not play Christmas music as requested. I asked him to and he did but not sure he had that many. Very unsociable I would not hire him again.
