Saniyah X is an Songwriter, rapper and poet who hails from North Carolina, currently living in Los Angeles. Touching stages in different cities from SXSW in Austin, TX to the Regency West in LA, she is creating a sound, lane and vibe all her own.
Growing up in a military family, Saniyah moved around a lot during her childhood which has influenced her unique style, sound & lyrics. What started out as a hobby in slam poetry turned into a career when she joined forces with up & coming artist and best friend, MRose, to release "Worst Drug" on SoundCloud which racked up 100, 000+ plays to date. With a new audience tuned in, Saniyah X released "Fragile" shortly after followed by "Runnin".
