For years, children young and old have noticed my resemblance to the Jolly Old Man. Children have tugged on mom and whispered, "Mom! That's Santa!" Why recently the bakery manager asked, "Santa, will you bring me a car for Christmas?" Employees at the drive through often look out and say, "Santa, is that you?" just to get a quick peek. While I was picking up dinner a our local favorite restaurant, I noticed out of the corner of my eye, kids pointing and giggling. As I was leaving, Mom came up to me and said, "My kids are convinced you are the real Santa!" I smiled! Before I left I felt I had to give a hearty "Ho, Ho, Ho! And a Merry Christmas!" And there are always those who want to be sure they're not on the naughty list, Ho, Ho, Ho! After retiring from working with children and their families in the child development industry, I knew my time had come to put on the suit and become the Jolly Man himself- Santa Claus. What an honor to portray one of the greatest legends of all time and bring the magic of Christmas to children everywhere both young and old.
