Secrets is a 7 piece band which provide high energy party dance live music. The Bands attire as always appropriate with the type of event providing there's a request from the client on style and color. We do allowed audience participation and on-the-spot real time requests.
Secrets, one of Charleston's longest running Funk shows, have been performing in the area for more than 15 years. Since 1997, the band has continued to please crowds with a soulful mix of Funk, Blues, Jazz and Motown. The band consists of:
Over the years, Secrets has performed at dozens of weddings and private parties, making many clients' events a huge success. They perform regularly on Charleston's club scene satisfying all the Funk fans in the area. The band's major influences include: James Brown, Earth, Wind & Fire, Grand Funk Rail Road, Marvin Gaye, Cameo, Jonathan Butler, Jimi Hendrix, Donny Hathaway, Parliament Funkadelic and many more.
Here are a list of requirements for the band setup which may vary due to the type of event.
1. Eletricity: 3 outlets on separate curcuits at 120amps each. All outlets must be excessible no more than 5 to 10 ft. away from the stage, otherwise the client must supply extention cords.
2. Generators: If a generator is being used for the source of power than it must be equipped with the ability to regulate the amp supply.
3. In conclusion eletricity for the stage and the stage itself will be the clients responsibility.
4. The band will supply lights for stage only.
5. There maybe a Rider submitted which the client must accommodate prior to the event.
