Performing together since 2008, Shadow Cabinet's sound is the product of influences from the 80s, 90s, and 00s. Inspired by The Cure, INXS, U2, Talking Heads, The Smiths, and many others, their songs are a fresh update on classic alternative, but with a modern spin.
Shadow Cabinet's songs have received radio airplay both in the US and overseas. The debut CD has also played on internet radio stations.
Shadow Cabinet has opened for Gene Loves Jezebel, The Romantics, Modern English and the B-52s!
The live show features covers from an extensive list, including tunes by The Cars, The Cure, Depeche Mode, New Order, David Bowie, Peter Gabriel, The Clash, Tears for Fears, Duran Duran, U2, Talking Heads, INXS, Joe Jackson, and many others. The set list can be adjusted for a particular show to be compatible with the main act.
