Shannon Marketic, Comedian, MC, Motivational Speak

Shannon Marketic is one of the country’s most engaging female leaders. An interest in spiritual and religious worldviews led her to attend the Julian Center School of World Views at eighteen years of age. For several years, Marketic was asked to travel the country to high school & college campuses, youth rallies and parent conferences to perform monodramas that she wrote & directed. She received over five scholarships but ultimately accepted a theatrical & leadership scholarship from Pepperdine University which was the vehicle that led to her “accidentally losing a bet” and winning the Miss Malibu, Miss Los Angeles, Miss California and Miss USA pageants, being crowned the forty-first Miss USA. As Miss USA, Marketic spoke an average of twelve times a week, making her one of the most requested speakers in its history.
Shannon has been a coveted spokesperson for many national companies. She has a substantial live television background & has been a broadcaster for ABC, CBS and multiple cable networks. She’s a popular keynote speaker has a successful acting background as a SAG actor appearing in over 25 TV shows & feature films. She also teaches acting workshops and image workshops for women.
Marketic enjoys producing and screenwriting; having completed three comedy screenplays; and one mystery/suspense & has produced two independent films. She has a passion for helping women & young victims of child abuse, human trafficking & has worked with many organizations including DARE, Big Brothers, STAND, Boys & Girls Clubs, Kids Across America & Children’s Advocacy Center.
Writing is one of Marketic's passions and she can always be read at (link hidden). Shannon gained acceptance into the Who’s Who in American Women in part for her writing accomplishments. Published in many periodicals, she is also the author of two yet to be released books. Her first book, entitled Real Beauty, Real Women, Real Life coaches women to maximize feminine potential by mining all aspects of hidden, buried potential and freeing oneself of the mental/emotional/spiritual lies and clutter that have held them back so that full Life Mission can be realized.

Most recently Shannon has founded Ransomed Princesses Ministries and is completing a book with the working title of Soul Purpose. Regarding both, Marketic says, “My seasons of victories and setbacks have uniquely equipped me to help others walk in to their comebacks as I am. Incorporating the promises of God has radically changed my life as they can transform anyone’s.

A life transformed by God's love, grace and redemption is the heartbeat of Ransomed Princess Ministry & Soul Purpose. The world gave me its coveted crown (MISS USA) with its superficial glory and hollow fame. That crown and its accompanying “smoke & mirrors” was ultimately disposable, but in the midst of the mire and ruins of my life—having everything (right down to scars across a much photographed face) stripped from me, God humbled me with a glorious New Crown; the Crown of Life that will not rust or decay; one that will shine brilliantly and endure for eternity.

Shannon is a very popular stand up comedian poking much fun at her trials and missteps while she stumbled into becoming Miss Malibu, Miss Los Angeles, Miss California, Miss USA & top 10 at Miss Universe. Her comedy also centers around her hilarious experiences in Hollywood as a misfit and her challenges becoming a single, adoptive mother.
Shannon is based in the Dallas Fort Worth area.
