Under the direction of Apollo Shaw, the Shaw Dance Company's mission is to entertain, inspire, and provide the best instruction in all genres of dance. We offer dance Instruction in Salsa(L.A., Cuban, Mambo, and PR Style), Bachata, Cha-Cha, Merengue, kizomba, pachanga, and Cumbia. We also offer dance demonstrations, performances, and latin music dj services for all events.

We hired Apollo for my sister's bachelorette party. I wanted to do something different that went along with our fiesta theme. I was a little nervous about how salsa lessons would go over, but Apollo was great! He came into a house filled with ladies being silly and fit right in. His talent was obvious, but what was even more impressive was his instructor skills. He took everything at the right pace, was encouraging and made sure everyone had a good time. He made my sister feel extra special by doing a partner dance so she could show off her new moves. It was perfect! Apollo is professional, fun and a very talented dancer. I highly recommend him (we're already trying to think of what we can bring him back for!).

Apollo Shaw is a Dance Instructor/Choreographer with the Shaw Dance Company. His dancing background includes Salsa (New York, L.A., Miami, & Cuban Style), Bachata, Merengue, Cha Cha, and Cumbia. His mission is to introduce the passion and excitement of dancing to all of his students, while continuing to promote Latin Dancing in the state of Illinois & beyond.
