First and formost he was there 30 mins before show time and carried himself in a professional manner and to make it even better. .he had all my guest crying from laughter......if you wanna get Kevin hart funny ( but better ) on a budget. Shawn J. Jackson is a stand up comic hailing from Philadelphia. Shawn got his start doing comedy in 2008, his freshman year of college. While interning for a local radio station, Shawn was introduced to the Laff house comedy club's open mic night. He started attending and performing every week. Six months later, Shawn dropped out of school to pursue a career as a stand up comic. Ever since, he has never looked back. In 2014, Shawn made the leap and moved to New York City. Jackson is quickly placing his mark on the mecca of comedy, performing at places such as Gotham comedy club, NY comedy club, Stand up NY, and Carolines on Broadway to name a few. In March of 2015, Shawn made his Stand Up Television debut on Gotham Live on AXS tv. Jackson is setting himself apart with his high energy, witty, and edgy jokes that push the Boundaries of conventional comedy. Catch him on a stage near you.
