Hello! My name is Shawna Loveing and am a junior Music Student enrolled at a college in Louisville, KY. For years, I have been playing the piano and singing. In addition to being a student, I am currently a performing/recording artist for high profile recording artists in the Louisville area such. Along with this, I am also a solo musician playing the piano and singing for various events. The music I perform is mostly done by memory or by ear and I'm very capable of adjusting my musical style to fit the mood of a given event. My music has been requested by everything from weddings and social gatherings to seasonal parties and community and institutional events.

An audience member or client should expect musical enhancement to any of their events when I am invited to play for them. Whether that be me singing, playing the piano, or singing and playing the piano, I am a reliable source for customer satisfaction. Because of my musical abilities, I am able to set the mood for a given event and want to make the music a vital, yet subtle and non distracting part of the entertainment that takes place.
My name is Shawna Loveing, I am twenty-two years old, and am currently a junior music student at Boyce College in Louisville, KY. I play the piano and sing for two ensembles at school and receive generous amounts of scholarship funds because of my recognized abilities and gifts amongst the professors. I began taking piano lessons at age seven and went on to play entirely by ear at age eleven. Since then, I have led music for events in over thirty states and two countries and thousands of people. This afforded me the opportunity to be the music director over a group of college-aged individuals for an extended period of time. I am currently studying music at school and have excelled tremendously as a student in the music department. In addition to being a student, I am also a recording artist for Sojourn, Sovereign Grace, and the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. I have played at several different kinds of events including everything from weddings and social gatherings to seasonal parties and community and institutional events. I have played music for thousands of people and have enjoyed doing so tremendously. An event planner can count on me to set the mood for any given event. I am musically intuitive and am able to both sing and play if necessary.
My set list is very flexible and easily rearranged depending on the kind of event I am performing for.
I have performed acts of music for weddings, funerals, social gatherings, seasonal parties, institutional and church events, community wide events (i.e. county fairs, festivals), and studio recordings. All of these have affirmed my ability to enhance the mood of an event by the music I play.
