You can expect your artist(s) to be on-site 15-30 minutes prior to start time to set up and prepare to serve your guests.

You can expect the artist(s) to be professional in every manner. Every artist on our team has had professional training in their field(s).

You can expect your face/body artist(s) to use top shelf professional quality makeup and supplies, specifically made for safe use on the skin. Our balloon artists use 100% biodegradable latex balloons.

Manja is an award-winning face/body artist. She shares First Place with a group of 5 artists for the 2014 FPBA International Group Body Art Competition.

She attends annual training conventions in face/body art as well as balloon art/decor. She attends ongoing training classes, from the best face/body/airbrush/balloon artists in the world.

Manja Warner, owner and lead painter of Shining Faces has been transforming children's lives for almost 30 years. She has 17 years experience working in Early Childhood Education and 12 years Face Painting experience.

Manja is passionate about face painting and sees it as a way to make a positive difference in people's lives, first by the stroke of her brush as she artfully transforms each person on an individual basis and secondly, by supporting causes that help children and families in need, both locally and abroad.

Manja has had professional training and has trained each of her team members in the art and professionalism of face painting. She is very strict in setting standards for her business in the art form, hygiene, and interaction with clientele.

Shining Faces uses only products which are FDA approved for use on the skin and around eyes. From the paint (make-up) to the glitter to the glue used for embellishments - it is all specifically designed for use on human skin.

NOTE from Manja: Whatever the age, whatever the occasion ~ people LOVE face painting! People love being transformed. It can be a very personal and individual matter to have yourself be transformed and to see yourself in a new way. I do not take that lightly. I cannot express the joy and awe I see when people look at themselves in the mirror after being painted. It is priceless! I consider it an honor to be in a position to have such an impact on people (the paint washes off, but the memory lasts long afterwards) through my paintbrush and with the proceeds I earn from doing it. Shining Faces has all the necessary tools and equipment to do small or large scale events. We are equipped with a 10x10 canopy with top & sidewalls, tables, chairs, lighting, and signage.
