Using her powerful voice, Simply T will grace the stage and her audience with her unique eclectic and soulful sound. She loves connecting with her audience and taking them back to the time when soul was still in music. She engages with her audience and allows them to sing along as well as engage with her on stage, depending on the type of event and size of the stage.

Simply T is an 9 time X-Poze-ing Music Award winner, a 1 time Akademia Award winner, a GA Music Award and a Ganspa Award nominee. She is known to many as Tina Glenn. Born and raised in Winston-Salem, NC, she grew up with a family of great singers who shared the love of music. Her mother, aunts and uncles sang in the church choir, but her mother often played music of all genres, therefore exposing her to the great sounds of R&B, Blues, Jazz, and other alternative music. She was inspired by the great vocals of artists like Patti Labelle, Whitney Houston, Stephanie Mills, Shirley Murdoch, Aretha Franklin, Gladys Knight and other strong female artist. These were just a few of the many artists that she tried to mimic throughout the years as she developed the strong vocal range and vocal style that she has today. She describes her style as being Neo Soul/R&B, with a touch of Jazz, but also has a good voice for Gospel. Simply T states that her goal is to “capture her audience with the type of music that would feed their souls and entertain their minds.” “Pure Therapy” is what she calls it.

Simply T is currently working on a new EP that will satisfy the listening ear of many, and embarking on her 2019 "A Brand New Me Tour".

I currently do not perform with a band, but I do have my own PA system, mixer and microphones. I can provide my own Sound man for an additional charge or you can provide your own Sound man or DJ to handle tracks and sound.
