Mrs. Kate came to our school Fall Festival and played two shows! She captivated the audience which ranged in age from infants to seniors!!! “An interactive show” is an understatement!! She is able to get small children, teenagers and adults up front performing, dancing and laughing! At the end of the shows I heard a guest say, “What a fun night!” The children came into school the next day singing her songs and we have integrated them into our music program! We are truly grateful we had her come to our festival and cannot wait to have her back with us!

Tim and Kate, thank you for entertaining at Cavalier ND. I was your camping neighbor, Linda. Sunday morning you were singing hymns at your camper; it was beautiful! When Mrs. Kate is around there will be lots of smiles Her happy, cheerful attitude combined with her infectious songs brought joy to our library patrons (and their parents). They had fun while learning interesting information about the State of Florida. I highly recommend her.

Mrs. Kate has been performing at our annual fundraising Railroad Day Festival at the historic Callahan Train Depot for over 10 years now. We even build our kids' entertainment area around her performance time. She mixes great music including original songs she has written with fun props such as her "racoon in a can" or other puppets or unusual instruments like the rain stick to create a lively performance. She also encourages participation from the audience, especially from children, to come on stage and join her. Judging from the smiles on the kids' faces who go on stage and help her perform, they love it and their parents do, too. We will continue in the future to have Mrs. Kate perform at our Railroad Day Festival because she is a proven crowd favorite. I highly recommend her. There is always room for her on our Train Depot stage.

It has been way too long since Mrs. Kate has been to our school. We just scheduled her Just Say No to Drugs Show for Red Ribbon Week, featuring her famous song, "I Like Bein' Clean". I wanted to make sure that our 5th graders got to see her before they leave our school. Her shows are purposeful, energetic, and just plain fun. Through the lyrics of her songs, each child hears important messages that inspire them to be productive citizens of our community. The students remember these messages through the catchy tunes, which I hear students singing for months after her shows. Mrs. Kate is an inspiration to us all.

Mrs. Kate played at our son's 8th Birthday party. She was wonderful at engaging the children through her original kid-focused songs and interactive show. The kids loved helping with song actions and puppets. The adults enjoyed the music too! We highly recommend Mrs. Kate. She is talented, friendly, professional and fun!

"Mrs. Kate" Carpenter hails from the tiny town of Callahan, Florida, and travels throughout the southeast making families smile with her homespun folk music. Accompanying herself on the guitar, this prolific songwriter has recorded 11 original CD's and 2 children's music videos in the past 22 years. She performs over 150 shows a year, delighting audiences of all ages. Mrs. Kate’s specialty is electrifying preschool and elementary school children. Using catchy tunes, puppetry, unusual instruments, and riveting storytelling, her interaction with audiences of all ages is creative and unforgettable. She has inspired students in over 395 schools with her "Motivate with Mrs. Kate" show. Summers find her touring the public library circuit, promoting reading with her "Crack a Book" song and the unforgettable "Hug-a-Bug-a-Boo." Mrs. Kate is a featured performer at the Florida Folk Festival, Pinecastle Pioneer Days, and headlined the children's stage at the Alabama Chicken and Egg Festival.
