We are a vocal duo, rich in harmony singing. Two guitars, two voices. We have a somewhat eclectic song list which is generally in the Blues-Folk-Americana vein, although we do David Bowie, the Beatles and other pop songs as well. We have a number of original vocal tunes as well. Nancy and I (David) have been singing together about 6 years and each have a long history in music.

Unless the occasion calls for it we both sing into a mic and typically mic our guitars, although volume need not be loud. We can do a quieter folksy set or a set that has a little kick to it but typically, say if we were to play at cafe or farmer's market, we would mix it up. We can dress well or folksy as the occasion calls.
Nancy and David each have a long history in music as composers and performers. Six years ago we collaborated and have been singing together in a band they call Small Town Depression. We typically sing as a duo but occasionally have an upright bassist that accompanies us. Small Town Depression is primarily a vocal harmony group. Most songs are sung in harmony with a few solo performances by Nancy. Both are guitarist with David occasionally playing the mandolin. Small Town Depression sings the blues; they sing folk and jazz songs of old and they cover a variety of pop song, The Beatles and the like. In addition, about a quarter of their songs are original, typically in the Americana/folk tradition. Hence, we are fairly eclectic in our repertoire.
We have our own equipment (amps, mics, etc) and typically only require power. Being just the two of us (unless our bassist is available) we would require a fairly small foot print.
