Caro's Bio:
Caro Pierotto is a Brazilian native who chose the United States as her home 12 years ago. Musician by heart, the late bloomer claims Music saved her life. During her early twenties she used to live a business oriented lifestyle that led her to a dead end street. Feeling lost and far from herself, she used singing and songwriting as a tool for self healing and reconnection.
She relocated to Los Angeles in 2008 where she used her Brazilian music roots and the diverse multi cultural environment the city has to offer in ‘Marbella’, her Singer/Songwriter debut project.
That process gave birth to her first album, ‘Volta ao Mundo’. The album was produced and recorded by the Grammy Award Winner Producer Alberto Lopez and mastered by the also Grammy Winner Engineer Joel Soyffer at Coney Island Studios in Glendale, CA.
Creating a unique sound that blended Bossa Nova and contemporary World Pop Music, ‘Volta ao Mundo’ was released in 2013 and made it to the American Grammy’s ballot 2014 and became a favorite at the prestigious KCRW radio station.
With influences ranging from Sade to Bebel Gilberto, Caro’s presence is felt as soon as she strikes her first note. She has been an active musician in the Los Angeles music scene since 2008.
Caro has recently worked with world renowned producer Pharrell Williams and the artist Maxine Ashley for the movie ‘Trash’ by acclaimed director Stephen Daldry.
She has performed in Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador, Brazil, Indonesia, Portugal and the UK.
She’s currently working on her first solo album with the Latin Grammy nominated producer Grecco Buratto.
Because Music has blessed her, Caro focuses on her expansion as an artist and human being daily to continue to inspire wherever she goes, and hopes that she can continue to be an instrument of the powerful healing tool that Music is.
