I play acoustic guitar and sing songs from the '60s to today. I also play a few originals, which have been played on college and community radio. My latest single was a semi-finalist in the 2017 International Songwriting Competition and the 2018 Unsigned Only music competition. My original music has appeared in more than 280 TV show episodes.
I play mostly singer/songwriter and light rock, with Americana influence. I am laid-back and focus on easygoing mid-tempo songs, with a few ballads and uptempo tracks mixed in.

I am easygoing, comfortable with a crowd, and love playing music. I won't be jumping up on any tables for a guitar solo, however, but nor am I a wallflower. I specialize in relaxing, mid-tempo tracks, but like to keep it interesting with some upbeat tunes and a few ballads, incorporating some finger picking tunes along the way.
My musical styles include singer/songwriter, Americana, indie folk, alternative country, and rock.
I am a singer/songwriter who has been writing and recording music for many years. I play a set with a variety of current popular tunes, as well as classics from the '60s to today. I perform solo with acoustic guitar.
My latest album as Sons of the Golden West received airplay on more than 50 radio stations, and made the chart at three of them. My single, "Wake Me in Paris," was a semi-finalist in the 2017 International Songwriting Competition. It was produced and co-written by Scott Mickelson.
My music has appeared on more than 280 TV episodes, and various commercials. One of my Sons of the Golden West instrumentals, "Last Serenade", appeared in the film, "There Is Many Like Us."
As an added service, I can write a custom song for your event, such as for a birthday, anniversary or wedding, using your idea and information (I do this regularly for my music production clients). You could order a recording of the song on CD, if you wish.
If there is power within reach, I should be able to simply plug in and play. I have an amp/p.a. that is adequate for small spaces. If you want me lit, for an evening event, you will need to provide lighting.
