We are a nine -person dance band with full PA, stage lights, horn section, vocalist, guitar, percussionist, keyboard, drums and bass. We are first and foremost a dance band and we pride ourselves to staying true to the Motown R&B sound - check out our setlist. We all have years of stage experience playing in various bands from Los Angeles and San Francisco to Austin, Seattle and Portland. We’d love to play your wedding, birthday or other special event.
Soul What played our wedding reception and their music is not only top-notch but they are also wonderful people. They arrived on time and were communicative before and during the wedding. They played a special song for our "first dance" that I had requested a week prior to the wedding and they rehearsed and played it so well :) They kept the reception upbeat and made announcements when needed. They were a hit, I would hire them again in a heartbeat! Five stars!

You’re going to see a kick-butt high energy show. The band is extremely high energy especially the two main vocalists. Our horn and guitar players are also great soloists. Get ready to dance.
We have full PA; back line amps and drums percussion and stage lights. There’s 8 to sometimes 9 of us but we still manage to play on fairly small stages. It’s best to have a couple 110 circuits. But we could prob get by with one.
