The weather was pretty awful for our rehearsal dinner. These people were amazing. They made some suggestions for moving tents around and brought the pig right inside the tent. Food was great and service was great. Would use them again if I have another event

We were so pleased with our service and the guests couldn’t stop talking about how good the food was. They were so accommodating and friendly and made it such an easy experience.
Ron and his team catered our wedding weekend welcome party. The pork was fantastic, very well presented, and Ron was fun. Allowed us to take part in the carving and he would have let us do even more if we wanted a more hands on experience with the roast. Very fairly priced as well (we shopped around).
Maybe most importantly, leading up to the event, Ron was communicative, easy to get a hold of, and a straight shooter.
Spit-n-pig roasting service did a wonderful job! The food was a huge hit and so many guests said it was absolutely delicious! They also took care of supplying all of the silverware and napkins as well as packaging all of the leftovers for us so we didn’t have to do any cleanup. Would definitely recommend them for anyone interested in a pig roast!!
I decided to surprise my fiancé with a smoked pig for his graduation party and was not disappointed! I am so happy I came across Ron with Spit-n-Pig. He was very responsive and answered any questions I had. He took my plans into consideration and brought the pig fully cooked to my house at my requested time. The pig was still hot and he verified it with a thermometer - even gave some guests a demo on how to carve!

This crew showed up on time and went straight to work. Ron and his crew are very professional , they greeted us with a big smile and they were ready to get to work. The presentation of the pig was phenomenal! My guests loved the food menu that was included with the pig. We had so much food left over but Ron and his crew put our food in containers for our guests to enjoy while the party continued on. My husband and I also loved the pig cutting ceremony . Ron and company were the hit of our bachelor party. The pig was absolutely delicious. There wasn’t a bite left by the end of the night.
As the best man, I had a million things to juggle at once. Ron was easy to work with and kept me updated every step of the way making my life easier. He even brought a hockey puck and put a Bruins shirt on the pig for the hockey-loving bachelor.
He showed up just before 6 and was completely set up and serving pork before 6:30. Great pig. Awesome photo opportunity. Even better service.
If the opportunity arises, I’ll be booking Spit-n-Pig again.

Ordered a fully cooked pig for my entire family on Christmas eve. The pig was delivered fresh off the fire. Explained everything and place thermometer in to show the degrees at the moment. Worth every penny of the cost. Will never forget.

Truly loved them. Family business and it felt good to support that. Very kind, and easy to work with. Accommodated and anticipated all of our needs. The food was AMAZING! Simple, clean flavors. Very fresh, and so yummy! They clearly loved what they were doing - happy to do photos, teach guests about the cuts of pork, answer questions, and even help us box up leftovers. I could not have thought of a better experience. Absolutely raised the bar for what to expect from a caterer.
We had a great experience with Spit-n-Pig! Ron was super responsive and helpful during the booking phase. They were on time, set up fast (needing nothing from us), and had the pig carved and food ready to go at the time requested. Food tasted great and the pig was super fresh. Everyone had a great time. This was perfect for our outdoor summer party. Ron and his team are so friendly and have the process down pat.

We booked Spit-n-Pig through Gigsalad for an outdoor birthday party for a large crowd and everything went great! Ron was very responsive to all questions pre-party and he and Colleen were a pleasure to work with on the day of! The pig looked and tasted great - all of our guests were impressed!
Ron and his wife, Colleen, were incredibly gracious and decorated our pig to make it the perfect centerpiece for my husband's retirement party. But not only was it good looking, it was SO deliciously tasty!!! Everyone was completely impressed and all left the buffet with happy, satisfied tummies. I couldn't have asked for anything better. We had 35 guests and they can't stop talking about how good the pig was as well as the homemade sides, especially the beans and potato salad. Ron was excellent to deal with and covered every possible detail. For an event like this you don't want anything to go wrong or run the risk of poor service. Of all the pig roasts my husbands Iowa family have been to they are still talking about the one I hosted for our family reunion with Spit-n-Pig doing all the work. Chef Ron knows his pig and we had the most delectable meat. His crew were organized, friendly and approachable. The presentation was also quite memorable. Hire this guy!

We arrive about 1 hour before Serving time and setup the buffet if needed. The pig is placed on the carving table and decorated with assorted fresh fruit. Once carving begins the hot pulled pork is placed in pans and your guests help themselves
After everyone has eaten we clean up the carving table, break down the buffet and leave. Any leftovers are removed Unless you have room to store at the proper temperature.
Spit-N-Pig started in 1998 when we did our very first pig roast. It was a 250 lb. "Monster" of a Pig and took 4 strong guys to get it on the "Spit" .....long story short after lots of laughing and some medicinal beverages for strained muscles , Spit n Pig was born. Today we only cook up to 100 lb. 'ers and no longer use rotisseries but large portable, Professionally Fabricated grills that smoke the pig Low And Slow the way good BBQ is done, with charcoal and select hardwoods. We are so sure that you will love our food and service we ask for the final payment After you and your guests have eaten our delicious meal.
