I have over 20 years of bagpipe playing experience, and am presently Pipe Major of the Brockville Pipes and Drums. I have performed at many funerals, memorials, weddings, birthdays, graduations and opening ceremonies. Reasonable pricing. I look forward to playing at your event.
Stewart Nimmo has been a pleasure to deal with for this occasion. His input was gratefully accepted and helped us with how we arranged the event. Stewart was completely professional, on time and blended with our family. I hope he enjoyed working with us as much as we enjoyed him.
We would highly recommend Stewart for occasions that require a piper.
marched 500 troops onto the field, didn't miss a beat. i couldn't be happier with his performance!
A job well done and enjoyed by graduates, parents/guardians, friends, family and staff.
Thank you!
Stewart was very accommodating. Music choice was excellent. He was very professional. My mother would have been pleased to meet him in person. I would highly recommend Mr. Nimmo to anyone looking for a bagpiper. Excellent!
Stewart was easy to speak with and very flexible leading up to my event despite the pandemic. He arrived early to my wedding sharply dressed and entertained and chatted with guests, making sure his instrument was working well. His music was pure and strong, and very well suited to the situation. He joined us for dinner afterwards, and his presence at our table make the experience more enjoyable, particularly for my new father in-law. He added so much to my wedding, i couldn't imagine it without him. I highly recommend him to anyone seeking bagpipe services. Also he is incredibly competitively priced, I am blown away by just how good he was.
Thank you so much to Stewart for piping for our moms memorial event at the Blue Church. It was amazing.
On a day when we were on pins and needles due to the risk of rain, we finally decided to go ahead with the outdoor wedding. Stewart provided the music for the recessional through the forest back to the reception area. It was a lovely dramatic touch and nod to the groom’s Scottish heritage. Stewart arrived early and was very gracious in adapting and following our requests.
Great song suggestions.
Very professional.
Stewart provided funeral music for our grandmothers service and it was a perfect addition to the day. Stewart was prompt, professional and very responsive with any inquiries we had. We had multiple attendees approach us after the service to say how much they enjoyed the musical addition to the service. Thanks again Stewart!
Very professional and talented. Stewart made our service very special. It meant a lot to all of us.
Stewart was amazing!!! the attention to detail and very prompt and prepared. If you are looking for a bagpiper for your event contact Stewart Nimmo , I would give him 6 stars if I could. Thank you so much Stewart!!!
Steward Nimmo arrived promptly on time to my Mother's memorial service. He was very likeable and respectful but also very professional. He was happy to do anything we wanted and he did so beautifully. Steward brought a real atmosphere to the memorial and was so appreciated by everyone who attended. My Mom would of been so happy. It was a very moving experience and I cannot thank Steward enough. I would highly recommend him without a moment’s hesitation. Once again thank you.
I hired Stewart for my dads 82 birthday and he played on his driveway due to Covid. My dad was thrilled as were the neighbours who joined in to watch. Thank you Stewart!!
I hired Stewart for my Fathers funeral and I am so glad I did. He looks the part to a tee and his skills are impeccable along with his top notch communication. Im more than grateful I was able to send my Dad off with such a soul shaking performance. There wasnt a dry eye in sight. I was quite busy given the event that I didnt get to say how much I appreciated him and thank him before he left. So Stewart I thank you dearly, you were amazing and if EVER come a time someone needs a piper, youre name will not soon be forgotten, you are a great man. Thank you again.

Mr. Nimmo was very prompt and professional. He read our crowd very well and his music choices were ideal for both the young and old. We couldn't have asked for a better piper. Thanks, Stewart!!!

Thank you for the review, Diane! It was an honour for me to play a part in your Mother's funeral service. It did go well despite the miserably cold and rainy weather. If I can ever be of service to you or your family in the future, please do not hesitate to contact me.
