StringMusic provides string quartets, trios, duos or solo violins for weddings, receptions, corporate functions, or any event where live music is needed. Musicians are present and former members of the San Antonio or Austin Symphonies, and will be happy to perform classical, popular or contemporary music for your event.

I have rarely ever experienced customer service like this. It moved me to the point of tears. This woman was so concerned that our event go on, even after the violinist unexpectedly canceled days before the wedding, that she was willing to drive down and play the event herself. That's a commitment to the customer experience.

Du Anne and her fellow musicians were excellent and I would likely recommend them.
Du Anne was so nice and easy to work with. We had arranged for her to play at my wedding months in advance, so she checked in multiple times to make sure she had the most up-to-date information of what we were wanting. Day-of she arrived early and played so beautifully, exactly as we had discussed. The solo violin just made the experience so simple and elegant. I’d absolutely recommend her!

Did Anne Hambry, owner of String Music, followed up promptly, did the booking process extremely efficiently and professionally, showed genuine heart felt interest in the importance of her performance and helped my fiance and I create a lasting and wonderful memory. 5 stars is not enough. I told her I have to book her 3 more times at 5 stars each, so I can give her 20 stars.
What a wonderful time we had. It was so awesome. I booked a solo violinist as a surprise for my wife's birthday. She never suspected a thing. our performer came to my house and played beautifully. Music selection was wonderful. He even took a request or two. It was such an awesome experience.

Each highly trained musician is well versed on the art of performance. We strive to provide the client with professional planning and to make sure that every detail is taken care of to the customer's satisfaction.

We play classical, popular, religious and contemporary music. Our standard dress is a tux for the men and concert black for the women.
A typical set up for a string quartet is 4 chairs without arms.

We perform classical, popular and contemporary music.
Having been a member of the San Antonio Symphony, Fort Worth Symphony, Little Orchestra Society of Philadelphia, plus numerous chamber groups, I have been able to be associated with some wonderful performers who have inspired me to play chamber music. This is a natural path to perform for weddings, receptions and other functions where live string music is desired.
Each performer needs a chair without arms.
