Sunny began performing professionally in New Orleans Clubs. In the late sixties, Sunny was the headliner at the Lion's Den, Pete Fountain's Club, and Al Hirt's Club. He's well-known in Memphis! Sometimes, he arrives in a white cape that he hands off to his manager when he steps on-stage. His entrance can be described as a boxing-ring drama with an Elvis flair!
