The Drum Circle was very entertaining and interactive with the crowd. It was very hot, but they still showed up and showed out with a lot of energy.

Sunya's group is always better than advertised. They are always on time and brings great energy and excitement to the program. People continue to talk about the experience well after it is over. We will continue to have them back.

I used her services for our family reunion banquet, and it was awesome!! The family raved about how they enjoyed the drummers and the audience participation part of the performance. Sunya has a beautiful spirit, and it exudes in her drumming. I highly recommend her services!

Kenzi and his mentor Allen gave us a beautiful and interactive experience with stories, singing, dancing and of course drumming. The class was great. The Senior Center maxed out for registration.
The participants throughout enjoyed themselves and had a wonderful time. Ms Sunya present and skills allowed the class to be taking to another level. Seniors were standing in the hallway dancing. We would love Ms Sunya to come back.

There’s so much so that I could say about Sunya!! She is the kindest most centered individual that I’ve met in a very long time. We thoroughly enjoyed having Sunya and her crew come to River Landing during our "Cruise Around the World." The booking process was very easy and Sunya was so accommodating to our needs. The group provided some history related to Africa and allowed our residents to play along given the instruments that was provided by Sunya. Sunya then led our group in an African dance which the residents thoroughly enjoyed. I wish we could have danced maybe one or two more songs as the residents said they enjoyed that piece the most. However, this was our first performance with them so, we really did not know what to expect. I would definitely recommend this performance to anyone as we had so much fun. Thank you to Sunya and the other crew members.

I believe the performance was good but I think she wanted to do it more her way than mine... I felt like I wasn't the one who paid her, but more like SHE was running the show. She was late but did a good job once we discussed what was to happen. S/N our time to prep was greatly reduced due to the late arrival. If we had the prep time we needed, I feel it would have been a much better experience. Thankfully my guests didn't know what was going on.

She and her team were professional, on time, and incredibly nice to work with throughout the event planning process. I really enjoyed working with Sunya and Bilal this summer to plan my school's peace night event. Sunya was very personable and professional. She asked lots of great questions that helped her to really capture the objective of our event. This was crucial to the success of the program. I felt that because she cared enough to ask what it is that I'm looking for instead of what she's going to do really helped the success of our program too. Bilal was very engaging and flexible too. They were both self starters and needed little to no assistance from me. They also had great crowd management techniques that were also intertwined into their performance. Because of this, even when redirection was needed it didn't interfere with the flow of the program.

So I booked 2 awesome drummers for our Church community fun day event. They did a wonderful job, included crowd participation just great. I will most definitely book then again!!

Sunya and her associate Bilal provided a wonderful experience for our team members at Wells Fargo during our Juneteenth Celebration. Her sharing of the history and significance of the holiday was appreciated greatly and the African drum performance was superb. Some of our team members had the chance to participate as drummers and dancers, which was a fun and educational opportunity for everyone.

I booked Sunya Folayan for my school's Family Curriculum Night! The schedule for evening had three dinner sessions. Parents and students enjoyed Ms. Folayan as their entertainment while they enjoyed dinner. During this time they learned about West African drumming and were fully engaged. Some were allowed to participate as Ms. Folayan did an excellent job getting the audience to participate in her sessions. Great performance!

The group was amazing and the energy they brought was at a all time high for us in the Burgess Community(Myrtle Beach) South Carolina. They were very friendly and approachable. I'll be acquiring their services again. They help make history in my community.

Sunya's performance was spectacular. She educated the audience with some of the language of west Africa by asking them to repeat after her and telling the meaning of the words and phrases. She also involved the audience by having some members of the audience to come on stage and participate in some basic dance steps, without putting anyone on the spot. Sunya was very professional she kept in contact with me in the weeks before the event all the way up to the date of the event. I truly enjoyed this experience and I will definitely book her in the future.

Sunya Folayan and Friends have come to our center on two occasions and our participants and staff just love having them to perform and bless our souls!
They involve our participants with hands on techniques as they give an educational approach to the customs of Africa. It is like traveling abroad and being right there with the drum rhythms of a deep African culture. We cannot wait till Sunya can return again. It is one of the best programs we have and we are the national role model Adult Day Program in the United States.
