Susan Kitt - Pro Pianist/Vocalist

Sue performed for a 50th anniversary dinner we had at a local restaurant with Gus could not stop commenting on what a wonderful talent she was and the fact that she made the event. I plan to have Sue back for other parties and entertainment‘s that I give she’s one of the best acts that I have ever had.

My cousin hired Sue to play live piano at my uncle’s viewing/memorial service. She asked Sue to play Broadway show tunes that guests could request or sing along to, as the theatre and entertainment was one of my uncle’s greatest loves.

Sue came with several pages of names of Broadway numbers as well as a few pages of names of popular songs from various decades that she had familiarity with. However, we were able to also make suggestions for songs or artists and if she knew the song she would happily play it with no written music just from hearing it in her head. I cannot even begin to describe how insanely talented she is. We covered big Broadway numbers and popular music like The Eagles, The Police, CSN, Elton John and David Bowie. I cannot even count how many various songs Sue played for 3 hours.

Her extraordinary talent coupled with her kindness, friendliness and warm personality is what makes her stand in the upper echelons of music professionals. I had never sang alone with accompaniment with that many people around, and she helped make me feel comfortable enough to be loud and confident. Her encouragement gave me a safe place to sing along with my family members who has been performing in theatre productions for decades without any hesitation, which was such a meaningful experience for me. My uncle wanted his service to be a celebration, and his passing was sudden and unexpected. Our family spent several weeks fully encapsulated in grief and sadness due to this loss. And although expressing those feelings doesn’t always come naturally to many of us, Sue gave us an opportunity to come together and celebrate him in a way we knew how, through music and singing. She provided a true gift through her service and we were so lucky to have her at such an important event.

I know we will definitely reach out to hire her again for any future (and hopefully happier) events.

Sue did a great job at our event, which was an outdoor college reunion with a wide age range (from class of 1963 through 2018). She was a consummate professional, and communication was easy and friendly. We loved the way she was able to do mashups of songs from the same artist, like her mix of "Clocks" and "Viva La Vida" by Coldplay. I believe she did something similar with some Journey tunes to open her set. The event was not as intimate as I would have liked it (our fault, not hers), but she played beautifully and kept going. With her wide catalog of song choices, I would not hesitate to hire her for any event requiring a pianist.

We had an open house for a variety of people. Sue possessed an eclectic repertoire of songs that delighted everyone. I would recommend her to anyone who is looking for a talented, charming and versatile pianist.

Susan is very friendly, likable, and talented. She was very easy to work with in our circumstances. In short, she provided a wonderful experience.. You can’t go wrong with Susan.

We hired Sue Perti to play the piano at our dad's 90th birthday party in the ballroom at the Christiana Hilton in Wilmington, DE. She was prompt, very pleasurable, and played the piano beautifully. She is very easy going, and will make sure that her music selections fit in with the theme of your party. She also brought her keyboard and played the Polka for my dad and mom.

Sue was the perfect accent to our restaurant. We have been receiving rave reviews of Sue's music and piano playing. We are located in the Theater district in Philadelphia and were looking to enhance the atmosphere during the holiday season. Sue was the perfect enhancement!
