Are you looking looking to set the mood for your wedding, restaurant, club/bar, or private party? My name is Brenden Lowe and I am working professional pianist in the northern California area. I can accommodate any and all events that you can think of! My vocalist and I are the most popular duo to be selected for private parties, weddings, restaurants and any other event you might need music for. I can add drums and bass to thicken the atmosphere, or even a trumpet and sax for larger parties! Myself and all of my musicians have a college degree in Music Performance so I feel completely confident in guaranteeing the highest quality of music and professionalism you will find!
We booked Swingin' Piano for a 1920's Murder Mystery Party and couldn't have been more happy! They showed up 45 minutes prior to setup and performed great music throughout the night. We even extended an extra hour because our guests were enjoying so much. I highly recommend as they are timely, professional and a great experience.
OMG! Absolutely the best ever! We will definitely use Swinging Piano again!
I hired Brenden to play at a small gathering at my house. Everything went perfectly; the booking through the GigSalad webpage was straightforward, he had some good examples of his performances linked to the webpage so I got a good idea of his style. Brenden replied promptly when I emailed him and accommodated my song requests. His performance at my house was exactly what I had hoped for and everyone was pleased and he added greatly to the event. He played some beautiful jazz tunes and he has a great repertoire and skill. Would definitely hire him again.
Response from Swingin Piano:
Gaby,
Thanks for the review! It was a pleasure to play for your birthday party. I had a wonderful time. Thanks again!
Of all of the performers in the orchestra you were by far the best! Mr. Lippia came to recognize the talent and skill level and he acknowledged you and only you (in addition to his musical director who did an excellent job from many prior performances with Mr. Lippia).
As to the rest of the "pull up" band: mostly a disappointment. I realize that sight reading a book for the first time is not an easy feat even for professional musicians. But still I have my expectations and they were not met. Most glaringly the sax section--if you are going to bring your clarinet and intend on playing it during the performance do some practicing! The problem is that even in my performance years the last instrument I practiced was my clarinet and such led to poor intonation issues with my performances and as were also clearly apparent the other night.
My real problem is since BJ's closed and of necessity due to my limited finances I have centered my listing on groups who travel with their bands and have played for years with each other; I.e. Rita Coolidge who perform at Harlows recently. It was obviously a well seasoned band!
Back to you: Do you have any performances scheduled in the future that are not private? What I would really like to hear is you alone with a highly talented vocalist like the blond girl from Sacramento who now performs on Broadway--I can always dream.....
Kenny Rogers--not the country singer
Brenden was a complete unknown but more than lived up to the billing. I hope we have the opportunity to use his gifts again. His music, personality and appearance added immensely to our event. Don't hesitate. Book him.

Depending upon whether you would like solo piano, or maybe duo with my expert vocalist can always expect to hear an elegant, crisp, and classy balance of dinner jazz music for the venue of choice. We will provide a very upscale, classy, high quality, jazz sound for you to eat, drink, dance, and have a night to remember. Our song selection is highly based off of American Jazz Standards that you would recognize from Frank Sinatra's repertoire and other similar pieces. Adding our music to your venue will instantly upgrade your venue atmosphere to a level that your attendee's will talk about for months!
Simply let me know what you are looking for and I can add a vocalist or give you recommendation of instruments for your venue.
I began playing piano at the age of 3. Musically influenced by my father Malcolm Lowe, the concertmaster of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, I started classical training at New England Conservatory in Boston, Massachusettts. I switched my focus to jazz piano after studying classical for 14 years. I attended the New School University in Manhattan,New York in which I received my Bachelors of Fine Arts in Jazz Piano Performance from (phone number hidden)6. My experience in New York has trained me to respect all the important details that matter when working as a professional muscian. Always being early, having a very friendly and open demeanor at all times and always respecting the audience and listeners you are playing for. It is hard to know what caliber of muscian you will be hiring because everyone claims to be a muscian these days. I make this process easy for you by providing as many audio and video samples as needed. I am available for all solo gigs, classical or jazz. These events might be small parties or get togethers, or even restuarant or bar music. I also have my own trio I work with with to accommodate larger events. My trio is very popular for cocktail hour at weddings, any type of party, (law, real estate, corporate, retirement). For even larger venues I can add trumpet, sax, trombone and vocals for a thicker sound to do covers that range from funk, soul, country, or whatever type of music you may want. Ultimately, I always aim to provide you with the best and smoothest experience you can have with a musician. I greatly appreciate all opportunities. Look forward to hearing from you!
