Every minute of working with Swingularity! was fantastic. The booking process was clear and easy; Claudia is super friendly and fun to work with. She came by the day before to look at the spot they'd be performing and answer last-minute questions from me, and when the event arrived, I really didn't even need to do a single thing. They got there early, set up, and started playing at 6 on the dot, all the way through the end. Their music was great—perfectly upbeat, fun, and just loud enough for folks in our busy restaurant to hear! I've already asked them to reserve our date for next year :)
Swingularity is a wonderfully versatile band! They played at Studios Eleven in Oakland for my art show opening and provided the perfect music. From Brazilian jazz to show tunes, with samba, swing and Django all mixed in. Very professional, accommodating and easy to work with. Claudia and the band are fabulous. Five Stars!
Our experience was fantastic. This is one of the best local acoustic swing bands I've every heard! They are very professional, easy to work with and fun. Great dance music, "we could not refrain" my friend exclaimed.
I have been privileged to follow Swingularity for a year now. I make every effort to see them if at all possible. Talented individuals that exponentially become more so when together as a group. Please check them out you will not be disappointed!
I've been to at least 5 of their shows. They are terrific, always great energy! Always a fun time!
I have thoroughly enjoyed every time I have attended Singularity's music events.
We Have experienced Singularity both at a venue in our home and a number of times at other venues. It is always enjoyable and lively with talented musicians, and my body tends to sway with their engaging performance. They do standard Swing as well as their own interpretations that pull you in with their upbeat attitude. Great tonality along with their musicality make for a fun, lively evening.
Swingularity has been performing @ Marks Wine & Jazz Sundays for many years inside Club 1220 located in Walnut Creek. They play monthly @ our club & are a crowd favorite. They are all about engaging the audience.
They have been a huge asset in building our Sunday Wine sales!
All of the members of Swingularity are a pleasure to work with & are always professional
Swingularity played for my art opening and made the gallery come alive. It's a warm, friendly and sophisticated band. It's clear they love playing and they're very skilled, have a great repertoire, and a beautiful, energetic sound. They were also on time, played longer than they had to and were reasonable in their fee. I'd hire them again in a minute.

Swingularity ! was formed in 2012 (originally as Fascinatin' Rhythm) have have been gigging steadily since then.
While the infectious combination of acoustic guitars, stand-up bass and violins is reminiscent of the Hot Club sounds of Django Reinhardt and Stéphane Grappelli, the band stretches into other directions as it covers the best of the Great American Songbook standards of the 30’s, 40’s, and 50’s, along with more modern material.
The musicians of Swingularity! come from an eclectic background of bluegrass, trad jazz, hot club, pop, rock, and more, but have come together to craft a sound that is emotionally expressive, sophisticated and highly creative.
For general events we ask for the use of 2 armless chairs and access to 2 AC electrical outlet and we can provide the rest including sound system.
Generally, a12' X 12' space is sufficient. If the venue is outside, we need a flat shaded area to set up.
