Tamyka is a talented violinist who began her musical journey at the age of six, learning through the Suzuki method. Her dedication and passion for the violin led her to perform with numerous orchestras and music groups in Haiti, where she honed her skills and deepened her connection to her cultural roots. Tamyka's musical career also includes being a former member of the New Orleans Civic Symphony Orchestra, where she further developed her artistry.
Her commitment to promoting Haiti's rich musical heritage took her to Pamplona, Spain, where she toured to share and celebrate her culture through music. Tamyka's academic achievements include earning a B.A. in Music from Tulane University, where she refined her craft and expanded her knowledge of music theory and performance. Through her music, Tamyka continues to be a vibrant ambassador of Haitian culture and a dedicated advocate for the power of the arts.
