When we were looking for wedding entertainment, we wanted to embrace a unique style but also engage our guests above and beyond a traditional DJ. Ted Oliver offered a unique approach to guest engagement along with so much more! From the time we booked Ted to the last song, Ted focused on bringing people together and creating an environment for everyone to enjoy. If you are looking to book Ted for your event, here are our top six reasons you should.
1) Be prepared to sing and dance. Ted empowers people to get up and move, even if it is not on the dance floor. Everyone (literally) encircled the pianos to sing and dance – probably the coolest sight that night.
2) It’s more than dueling pianos, it’s a life experience. We will always remember dueling pianos at our wedding reception and our guests will too.
3) Accommodating and flexible with a schedule. Ted slightly adjusted his schedule to accommodate ours. We were able to connect our iPod and play a favorite for the grand march along with a song for our first dance.
4) Watch for the unexpected. You’ll find people dancing and singing that typically stay seated at receptions.
5) Expect rave reviews from guests. Everyone we’ve talked with simply loved Ted. These reviews reassured us why Ted was the right and only choice for main entertainment.
6) Extras. You’ll hear more than just pianos…
Dueling Pianos
Response from Ted Oliver Dueling Pianos:
Wow! Thank you Matt and Michelle. The UW Marching Band was the coolest wedding surprise EVER! Here's wishing you both a lifetime of health and happiness. This review may technically be unverified but we did perform this wedding reception
