The band Walenia is an Ameripolitan/Traditional Country trio based in the Missouri Ozarks. In 2015, the band Walenia played over 100 dates in eight states including Tootsie's Orchid Lounge in Nashville, the Nebraska State Fair, Ohio State Fair and other fairs, festivals and clubs. The band Walenia uses high tech means to bring a full band sound with just three members. The lead vocalist is Walenia herself who has been compared to country singers Connie Smith, Patsy Cline and Dawn Sears. The lead instrument in the group is the pedal steel guitar played masterfully by Hall of Fame nominee Terry Wood.
The Band Walenia was fantastic at the 2015 Nebraska State Fair. They drew a large crowd and performed three one-hour sets. I would highly recommend this band at any of your events!

The Band Walenia is a traditional Country/Ameripolitan band based out of Lebanon, Missouri. The Band Walenia takes its name from lead singer Shelley Walenia Moses, who has been applauded for her singing style and compared to some of the best all-time Country hit makers from Patsy Cline to Connie Smith to modern day singers Suzy Bogguss and Kasey Musgraves.
What makes The Band Walenia special is the arrangements of the songs. The lead instrument is a 14-string pedal steel guitar played by Terry Wood, a 40-year-veteran of the instrument. In fact, this year Terry is nominated into the International Steel Guitar Hall of Fame.
The Band Walenia has performed nearly 100 tour dates in the year 2015 including stops at Tootsie's Orchid Lounge in Nashville, Tn., the Nebraska State Fair, the Ohio State Fair and many more fairs, festivals, lounges, conventions, civic events and churches.
