Saw The Bitchin' Kitchen perform at Jazz on the Pond in Rochester, NY this past July. Incredible horn section, fantastic singers. Had all of us on our feet. Just a great group of talented, crowd-pleasing musicians.
We hosted The Bitchin' Kitchen at The Bug Jar on two occasions (4/21/11 and 6/4/12), and both times they provided excellent evenings of soul-packed entertainment. Well versed in a catalog of jazz, soul, and funk hits, this supergroup plays a non-stop set.
The Bichin Kitchen is a very talented group of musicians from my home town of Rochester,NY. and The Eastman School of Music. I enjoyed seeing and hearing them play this past summer at a fund raiser for The Eastman School of Music students that need help paying for some of thier expenses while they attended the school.
Bitchin Kitchin are a group of high class musicians that had everyone on their feet dancing at a concert in July. Great personalities and professionalism that showed through in their performance and connection with the audience.
We were blown away by these talented young artists in July at a Eastman School of Music scholarship fundraiser concert in Rochester called Jazz on the Pond. We can't wait to see them again!

THE BITCHIN’ KITCHEN
If you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen, 'cause this soul band is HOT! The cookbook is full of variety, with your favorite tunes by celebrated artists such as James Brown, Marvin Gaye, Tower of Power, and even Beyoncé, Cee Lo Green, and Justin Timberlake. We stir up the pot by bringing that classic R&B and soul sound to our original arrangements of songs by the Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, The Black Eyed Peas, and others.
There are fourteen cooks in this Kitchen, with five singers, five horns, and a four-piece rhythm section.
THE KITCHENETTE
For smaller parties, you don’t have to bite off more than you can chew! The Bitchin’ Kitchen’s Kitchenette serves the same soulful repertoire on a smaller platter. This seven-piece version of the band features our two lead singers, two horn players, and the full rhythm section.
UPTOWN JAZZ ENSEMBLE
We put this band together with New York’s most in-demand performing and recording jazz musicians. They are all virtuosos in their own right, and they make magic when playing together. THE HEIGHTS CHAMBER PLAYERS
For special ceremonies or quieter gatherings, The Heights Chamber Players provides the perfect atmosphere. Conservatory-trained and active in New York’s classical music circles, their sound is absolutely beautiful, absolutely elegant.
Our harpist, Marion, is also available for those same kinds of occasions. Her music is utterly fantastic and could indeed serve as the center of attention, or as a tasteful background, depending on your needs.

Rather than draw from a large, rotating roster, BMG offers a selection of well-rehearsed ensembles with set personnel, made up of New York's finest young musicians--each with an impressive performance career of his or her own.
