The Blue Velvet Band

When you book Blue Velvet you get a highly professional stage act with outstanding talent and a show that will have your crowd on their feet! We consistently get compliments about how our volume is just right versus other bands which are too loud for the event. We take the volume of our shows very seriously and work with our clients to get it just right. We cover a wide range of music to satisfy a wide and diverse audience and our break music does include popular line dances.

The Blue Velvet Band delivers the perfect variety of music, incorporating stage presence and powerful vocals into a dynamic and engaging performance. Your guests will find our show to be fun and entertaining. Our lead singer has done over 1,000 private events and weddings and can also MC/Host your reception as well!

The musicians have extensive stage experience. We cover a wide range of artists including Michael Jackson, Aretha Franklin, Bruno Mars, Stevie Wonder, Journey, Bonnie Raitt, Earth Wind & Fire, Kool & The Gang and many more.

We also offer background musical accompaniment for your cocktail hour or wedding ceremony. For example, we can provide a Jazz trio consisting of Keyboards, Bass and Drums. Solo Jazz piano for your cocktail hour is also an option. Our booking manager, Stevie, is a highly experienced professional when it comes to making sure that everything flows 'velvety' smooth. When you book Blue Velvet, you can be sure your event will be in capable hands.

We're completely self contained with our own lighting rig and PA system.
