I perform entertaining comedy magic shows as either a clown or non clown character for corporate events, schools, libraries, churches, daycares and yes of course birthday parties! I am a balloon twister/face painter as well. I operate primarily on my own but given enough notice, I can arrange more performers based on size of event. My goal is to make your child or students feel so special that The Clown PoP-PoP came to see them and that they walk away with a smile.
I hired PoP PoP as the entertainment at our Fall Festival 2013 event. He performed a great magic show and the kids loved it, laughed and had a great time. He twisted many beautiful balloon models. I'll definitely be inviting him back again.

I am professionally trained in the Art of Clowning by meeting all necessary requirements for graduation from Gator Clown School located in Jacksonville, FL. I have served in 2010 as the Vice President of Gator Clown Alley, which takes education and training of Clowns seriously in order to provide the best possible volunteer entertainment. I am a member of the Southeast Clown Association, and Clowns of America International which are both great organizations to further education, and hold annual conventions where that education is continued as the needs of our world consistently change and needs of our precious children change, I have been trained in Hospital Clowning, Caring Clowning and Clowning for those with Autism. I am very approachable and able to discuss beforehand any special needs your child may have so we can make the event memorable together.
I have served as a Hospital Clown for Wolfson's Childrens Hospital in Jacksonville, FL and made many happy moments there.
I made my first stage debut at the age of 9 years old and I have loved to perform for audiences ever since. So I am very comfortable with working on stage. I have Drama and Theatrical training as well so rest assured that when you hire me, you've hired someone who knows the industry.
I also make appearances as a Comedy Magician for those who prefer a Non Clown character at their venue.
I live in the Fayetteville, NC area and serve surrounding region, will travel farther but this requires negotiation.
It is very important and I stress this very seriously that I require at least 1 responsible adult present during my shows. This serves as a manifold blessing for both of us. One, to protect our precious children, and also to help me and my performers with the occasional disruptive child or adult. Controlling misbehaving children or adults is not my responsibility, but I do need to protect myself, my performers and my expensive props from injury or damage resulting from such misconduct. I have actually had to stop a show and leave due to a drunk relative who caused havoc and money will NOT be refunded if this happens, as I have already incurred the costs of coming out to perform or hired performers for your venue.
Staging, sound requirements and lighting needs can be discussed for those venues where it is required. I would rather coordinate this in person rather than in text. We can set up a time to meet with lighting/sound technicians in advance of the show.

Outdoor events require a shaded area to protect from the sun's heat for our performers, and a table and ample seating as requested for our face painters. Access to electrical outlets, water and facilities to use is required. Outdoor lighting for events at night are to be provided.
