You can expect a booty shakin good time! We're a fun, high energy band, playing exciting upbeat music. Everywhere we go, a dance party breaks out!
The Crown Vics are America's favorite rock'n'roll dance band. They have been described as “hard-twang”, “slacker swing” and "honky punk", and provide a high-octane mix of vintage rock, country, and blues, that will fire up any dance floor or concert stage!
The Crown Vics cut their teeth in venues from Hoboken to Halifax, where they quickly learned the value of involving their fans. Their shows explode into the audience and the fans storming the stage, often snatch a tambourine or maraca and scream into an available mic. On the flip side, The Vics know how to mellow the house with sweet crooning and harmonies.
Tapping into the tradition established by Carl Perkins, Wanda Jackson, and The Rolling Stones, The Vics combine attitude and style, that makes them a fun and vibrant act. Their live show a full-tilt, non-stop dance riot that puts a smile on the face of revelers of all ages. It is also a bit of a musical history lesson for those who pay attention.
