The Curtis Parry Jazz Cartel

The Curtis Parry Jazz Cartel was formed in 2011 by Curtis Parry himself. The Jazz Cartel started as a 5 piece band with tenor sax, trombone, drums, bass and Curtis on guitar and vocals. Eventually, 3 more horns were added and the band blossomed into the 9 piece jazz orchestra it is today. The Cartel was forged at Kevin Costner's former swanky and upscale restaurant Twin Palms in Pasadena, and continued on to play at such venues as 7 Grand, The Little Easy, Joe's Great American, The Escondite, Bourbon DTLA, Cucina Rustica, The Culver Hotel, The Venice Whaler, Red White and Bluezz, The Pasadena Ballroom Dance Association as well as many private and corporate functions and weddings. The high energy and soothing sounds of the horns and rhythm section combined with the smooth crooning vocals of Curtis Parry, no doubt make for a fantastic evening of music and entertainment.
