Overview
The Daiquiri queens are a group recently assembled, made up of of women who have each made their mark on the Louisiana music scene in their own right. The Daiquiri Queens embody everything that is wonderful about Cajun music, they’re both steeped in the tradition and completely authentic, as well as raucous and capable of getting the party started. In the short time that they’ve been performing as a group they’ve become one of the most popular Cajun bands in Lafayette Louisiana, making their mark, both for their musicality and for the good times that seem to follow them wherever they go.

Daquiri Queens we’re exactly what we wanted. Our opening reception Cajun style to 350 CPA society staff and AICPA members at the Ritz in New Orleans was a huge success. They set the celebratory tone. Everyone danced, ate meat pies and couchon de lait and enjoyed each other at our Fais do do. Thank you for your professional and wonderful talent.

John and Jamie Lynn coordinated a great ensemble of Cajun songs for our Fais do do. We had a welcome event for 300+ Aicpa members and staff for their interchange conference. Their music kept the crowd engaged and asking for more. They played the whole 2 hours with no break. They were on time and very easy to work with. Thank you gif salad for making this reservation so efficient and stress free.

First time to visit the Hideaway on Lee. Loved the atmosphere. But when the Daiquiri Queens started playing, it was over the top enjoyable. My date & I danced almost every song & when we weren’t dancing, we were so enjoying the sound of this band. Beautiful harmony & great Cajun sound the we love. Can’t wait to hear them again.

A unique mix of musicians come together to form the Cajun power group, The Daiquiri Queens. Hailing from Lafayette area to New Orleans, this female-fronted group brings influences ranging from early-era Cajun standards performed with twin fiddles and haunting vocal harmonies sung in Louisiana French to today’s Cajun hits.
Formed out of old friendships and a love for traditional-style Cajun music, The Daiquiri Queens is Lafayette’s hottest new French Cajun band. With a deep appreciation for the music and culture, the Daiquiri Queens are here to stay.
