The Deming String Quartet provides Classical String
Music for Wedding Ceremonies, Receptions and
various other occasions. In the hands of this
talented Quartet, many genres of fine music, from
Bach and Vivaldi to Ellington and Gershwin sound
magnificent. Other Specialties are Irish and
Appalachian Fiddle Tunes. Other related musical
groupings are available, such as String Trio; Flute
and Strings; or Violin and Guitar. The Deming String
Quartet is comprised of Larry Deming and Hafez Taghavi, violins; Barbara Wiggin, viola; Mary
Costanza, cello.
Larry was amazing to work with and easy to communicate. Although I didn’t get to meet Larry in person in my wedding day, my guests were over the moon by his talent! As I was waiting to walk down the isle and our song started playing, I knew that booking Larry was the only choice we could have made. He helped make my wedding memorable. Only regret I have is not attending our cocktail hour to hear Larry playing the violin. Book him now!

The Larry Deming String Quartet was engaged to play at my mother's "Celebration of Life Service" on Sunday May 15th, 2016.
Larry communicated well with me in the weeks leading up to the service and in coordinating the details of the group's engagement.
All of our guests were very pleased with the music and with the professional demeanor of Larry's quartet. My father had requested several classical selections to help celebrate my mother's life, and he was very pleased and satisfied with the renditions performed.

they played well but they were lacking in communication ie after we negotiated money it was hard to get a hold of them. they wouldn't answer phone calls or emails until a week before the wedding.

All of our guests were raving about their performance during our cocktail hour. What is even more impressive was that the venue employees (catering manager, bartenders, servers) all were blown away by the group, which says something as they likely have seen many string quartets perform in their jobs. We had a special request for a song for the bride to walk down the aisle, Larry transcribed the song specifically for our event and the performance was absolutely perfect. Don't think we could have asked for a smoother process in terms of coordinating our needs and expectations with the group, they were absolute professionals.
