The Desert Darlings specialize in American Tribal Style Belly Dance, an improvisational group dance, as well as original Tribal Fusion Choreographies. They will excite any audience with uplifting music, props (finger cymbals and Sword), beautiful costumes, and fabulous energy! These ladies are extremely dedicated to their craft and will put on a show you won't forget!
The Darlings are perfect for large stage productions, nightclub/bar/restaurant entertainment, and private parties (weddings, birthdays, holidays, etc). They can provide live music (Oud and Doumbek), recorded music, or can dance comfortably with your DJ.
I stopped in to the Kactus Brewery and the desert darlings just happened to be dancing that evening. the bar was packed with all eyes on the dancers, they were truly amazing.

The Desert Darlings are a Fusion Belly Dance troupe based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. They specialize in Tribal Fusion but also perform more classical styles (Raqs Sharqi & American Cabaret), as well as folkloric styles.
The Darlings are becoming known for their synchronicity, unique costuming, and their attention to technique. They have performed in several venues across New Mexico including: The Historic Taos Inn, South Broadway Cultural Center, Sister Bar, Anatolia, Tractor Brewing Wells Park, Kaktus Brewing Co, Pars Cuisine, and more. The Desert Darlings own and teach at Sirena World Dance Studio in Albuquerque.
