Swing Street Ensembles provide the best in traditional American music and Brass Ensembles. From Dixieland to sophisticated Jazz, and Heralding Trumpeters to Holiday Brass, the music is lively, elegant and performed by NY's most talented musicians.
Stylistically and visually, they present each era's music as performed in its heyday: Foot tapping Dixieland with vests and straw hats, the mellow sophisticated ambiance of acoustic jazz, hot Charlestons performed in cool white dinner jackets, Big Band Swing music, with a floor full of dancers as well as a variety of classic and exotic appropriate costumes for our Brass Menagerie ensembles.
