The Dollhouse Thieves

I hired The Dollhouse Thieves for a party for Denver Beer Co. They showed up on time and were kind and respectful through the entire event! (This is not always the experience with bands). Once they started to play, I was blown away! SO FLIPPIN TALENTED! Once they really got going, it started to rain and we were outdoors under a tent. They helped me get them covered so they wouldn't get wet, and then did an improv jam session acoustically that everyone LOVED! They created the vibe for the party and were a joy to work with! I will hire them every chance I get!

All night long during my wedding reception, the praise was relentless: "Where the hell did you find this band? They are incredible!" The Funky-Bots absolutely slay! I'm a musician myself, so it was extremely important to me to find a band that was tight and fun and played music with a real groove that will actually make people dance at my wedding. I sampled dozens of bands and got tons of quotes, but the clip Stephen sent me of his bandmates playing stuck out immediately. This isn't some corny neighborhood bar band with a rigid list of songs to choose from. The Bots are impeccably trained professionals, and everyone at my wedding could sense they were different. From the first meeting with Stephen, I felt at ease with his professionalism, sense of humor, and confidence. He and his band never balked at a request, and were willing to try out anything, and everything they tried succeeded. Paige, the singer, has unbelievable poise and soul in her voice; she is a rare talent that you aren't going to find in most bands, let alone wedding bands. I could tell the Bots spent a lot of time practicing our songs, and they had fun with the arrangements. That energy and looseness carried over to the crowd; people can sense when the band is having fun, and it just makes the whole show exponentially better. We danced our butts off all night long.

The Bots came on time, were prompt with setup and flexible with the schedule, and were all around kind and gracious people. My only regret is that they couldn't play longer. Do not hesitate to book them—even though the Bots are new, this is not the first rodeo for anyone in the band. I will recommend them to everyone I know till the day I kick the bucket.
