Ceol Leinn brought the house down at the St. Patrick's Day concert at the Restored Pulaski Theatre in downtown Pulaski Virginia. Twin bagpipes in a theatre setting was an awesome sound. The favorite of the guys in the crowd was the fetching lady on the war drums. The group made the evening a rousing success.

During a Flatland Mountain Band performance that you might attend, you could very well experience an awakening of the Celtic Spirit that is the heritage of so many.
At the same time there will be a revelation of sorts as the audience hears and learns where Blue Grass Music came from.
The Flatland Mountain Band is a cultural performance group with over 150 years of musical experience. They combine history, entertaining experience, and contemporary and world music to provide an entertaining event. They frequently invite local choral groups or collage and church choral groups to perform with them making a spectacular concert.
The Flatland Mountain Band presents a family oriented performance and spans all generations. The influence of Scottish and Irish music on American music is undeniable and very direct. Such influences are explored and played for the enjoyment of the audience... as are contemporary sounds from the likes of Pink Floyd... or the Grateful Dead. When this band plays the audience is swept up into rhythm and sound that gets them clapping and sometimes even attempting a Highland Jig.
The combination of instruments in this band is unique and exciting. Members of the band play several instruments which affords a wide range of music to perform. The primary instrumentation is: guitars, bass, violin, bagpipes, penny whistle, and percussion.
