We are a brass quintet based in South Florida, made up of professional musicians who graduated from Lynn University and FAU. With extensive experience performing at weddings, events, dinners, and parties, we offer a diverse repertoire of musical styles. Our goal is not just to entertain your guests, but to provide high-quality music for your special occasion. Equipment and Logistics: The Gold Brass Quintet will exclusively use their brass instruments, which may not require additional amplification, sometimes depending on the venue and the place it is better to have amplification of the group as is explained in the technical requirements below.
Always is recommended to have a suitable sound system available if the event is outdoors or the venue has acoustic characteristics that could affect the sound quality of the ensemble. Gold Brass Quintet is committed to ensuring the necessary technical and logistical conditions, such as sufficient space for the musicians and sound equipment, if required.
Technical Requirements:
Adequate stage lighting for reading music and a platform or stage area of at least 10 feet by 10 feet.
2 vocal microphones, equivalent to Shure SM 58 or better, on adjustable stands for ambient amplification of the entire quintet.
2 floor monitors.
Two chairs for the tuba player and the percussionist.
