We want you on the dance floor or at least tapping your feet and singing along to your favorite rock, country, disco, yacht rock, funk and pop tunes. All members perform lead vocals creating a fun show with a variety of sound and style. You will not be disappointed when you hire us for your next event!

If you hire us, you will get a stellar female and male vocalist who carry the majority of the vocals with additional songs performed by the other band members, harmonies that are on point and pleasant, and fun banter from the band members. We enjoy playing together and have a great comradery on stage.
We typically prepare a dinner set with familiar songs that the audience can listen to but not have to compete with. Yes, we perform as background music when the occasion arises. But when it's time to get the party rolling, we pump up the energy and play 3-5 up-tempo songs to each slow dance song. We will take requests from our guests and if we feel we can perform the request without comprising the performance we will absolutely play it on the fly. We can play anything from Etta James - At Last, to Cranberries - Zombie, literally A-Z!
We have a great sound system that we can bring and supply music during the band breaks as needed. We can also offer M.C. duties if desired for special events. We will tailor our set-list to the specific needs of the venue and clientele.
How We Came Together:
The Good Fun Band was established in September of 2020. During the Covid pandemic, our other bands (yes, we were all in other actively gigging bands) were not able to play for a variety of reasons. We were passionate about our music and decided to just come together for a single night of musical jamming in a club that offered us their stage. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we decided to continue working together and formed the Good Fun Band with the Mission of playing Good Music and creating Fun Times. It has been our pleasure to play all over San Diego County in the 3.5 years we have been together.
What We Offer:
Each member is versatile and seasoned with the ability to sing lead and backing vocals. We enjoy creating a fun environment for all ages, playing music that is both requested and often overlooked. We pride ourselves in our ability to take requests from our audiences and present a wide variety of genres for their enjoyment. Having a wealth of experience, allows us to perform for clubs, wineries, breweries, corporate events and weddings and still provide just what the audience is wanting to hear.

Jaime Ojeda - Drums, lead vocals and backing vocals.

If we are bringing the Sound equipment. We prefer to have pictures of the area the band will be playing and a consultation with our sound person to ensure we have the right power available and staging.
We are heavily influenced by the sounds of the 70's and 80's. Steely Dan, Heart, Journey, Doobie Brothers, Eagles, The Pretenders and more. But we also love the contemporary sounds of Bruno Mars, Dua Lipa, Chris Stapleton and Little Big Town. We love rich harmonies from the yacht rock vibe and heavier rock sounds from guitar forward classic rock and 90's era bands like Foo Fighters, AC/DC, Lit and Judas Priest.
