Originating in the northern plains many centuries ago; the Grass Dance is a warrior society dance, a healing dance and a blessing dance. It is believed that before every ceremony, gathering, feast, celebration or pow wow, the Grass dancers - were the facilitators and are the first to bless the grounds.
