The Guitar Guy

It depends on what you need me for. Small gigs; I'll just bring my amp and sit on a stool playing guitar. If you need more volume or me playing background to an event through a PA system, I can provide a PA system. I intend to bring in my own PA system unless there is one set up. I have not quips about playing through someone else's equipment. I'll spend about 15 minutes introducing myself to hosts/owners/etc.. and setting up and checking volumes. Once I get the ok to start playing, I'll play until I'm told to stop. That's about all there is to it. :)

My name is Jeremiah, and I am an 18 year old college student. I've been playing guitar for a little over ten years now, and I love it. I've taken classical guitar for a year, and I've been in bands from sixth grade until present. (7 years) When I was about 10 years old I started to learn the blues and I've been hooked on ambient music ever since. I've had several mentors throughout the years that I've stolen riffs and tricks from and I have gotten to the point of expression through music. I love to express emotion through the medium of music, and I've found that I'm becoming pretty good at it. I am ALWAYS being told I should start a band or something, but I haven't met anyone steady that I liked, so I've decided to go solo! I play fairly relaxing, chill, background, ambient, in the pocket kind of music. I've been doing this kind of playing and songwriting for about 5 years now, and I can pretty much sit down and start playing without rehearsal and not stop for 3 or 4 hours.

I've got a PA system that will make plenty of noise, or amps that will make a little bit of noise, or just an acoustic that doesn't make much noise. If you want me to use your system I don't really mind.
