The band sounded great. Our booking was a little different since we wanted to use their PA for a set as well.
However, the player who brought the mixer and PA was late. By the time he arrived, guests were already here. That meant we couldn’t do a sound check and encountered quite a few technical issues that couldn’t be fixed on the spot. For example, some of the mixer channels didn’t seem to work, the sound was not going to both PAs, and we couldn’t use a separate channel for keys/vocals. That said, he tried his best to help us out during the performance, which we really appreciated.
Other than that, the band was very professional and pleasant to work with.

Hi Sherry and George,
I’m so glad you thought the band sounded great but so, so sorry the pianist arrived at 6:00 PM for a 6:30 PM start. This is contrary to our policy and our usually. All of our performers are supposed to arrive at least an hour early.
LA traffic was extremely awful yesterday but it is always extremely awful. There are no excuses.
My sincerely apologies.
Our performers are always excellent but the pianist needs more rehearsal on his promptness skills.
This will not happen again.
